Your new firm
Our client is a leading professional services firm boasting a shining reputation across the North West. After recently agreeing a strategic partnership with a national practice, they are now looking to grow their indirect tax practice in the North. Recently growing the practice with an experienced ex Big 4 Indirect Tax Partner, they are looking to expand the team with several key hires.
Your new role
As an Indirect Tax Manager, you\’ll be working alongside an experienced Indirect Tax Partner, getting involved in high-level technical tax advisory work, supporting a range of large corporates business owners & SMEs across the UK. Working with some entrepreneurial businesses and large corporates, you will be tasked with providing market-leading advisory work alongside some compliance tasks, providing insightful and highly professional services to these clients.
Key responsibilities
- The delivery of high-quality Indirect Tax advice to a variety of clients
- Delivering advisory pieces to clients
- Create and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships
- Business development supporting the current partner and senior leaders
- Assisting the Corporate Finance team with some transaction work
- Mentor and support junior members of the team
Qualifications
- ACA/CTA qualified, or significant experience in VAT or Indirect tax advisory
- Strong experience within VAT
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
