Indirect Tax Manager
Manchester City Centre + Hybrid working

£55,000 – £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus

I\’m currently working closely with a leading big 4 accountancy firm in Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Indirect Tax Manager.

Your new role:

Working as part of the indirect tax team you\’ll get involved in a variety of indirect tax advisory and compliance matters, supporting large national, international, privately owned and listed companies across the UK.

  • You\’ll get involved in support the transaction team with a variety of engagements, including buy and sell side indirect tax support.
  • End to end VAT advice for clients during a transactions both nationally and internationally.
  • Working closely with large clients getting involved in VAT implementation and delivery.
  • Helping lead a team of juniors, supporting & coaching staff
  • Supporting large sports groups and federations with VAT obligations.
  • Business development activities across the region

What you\’ll need to be successful:

  • Strong UK Indirect tax experience
  • Ideally a ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA (although experience will be considered)
  • VAT transaction experience / VAT advisory experience
  • VAT systems experience
