We are working with a leading Top 10 Firm seeking to appoint an experienced VAT Director to join its Indirect Tax team. This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership role offering a clear pathway to Partner, within a firm known for its collaborative culture and strong growth ambitions. The role sits within a well-established national VAT practice, advising a diverse portfolio of corporate and not-for-profit clients, including large UK groups, international businesses, and high-profile landed estates.
About the Role
- Lead complex VAT advisory projects across corporate and not-for-profit clients, including UK and international matters.
- Drive business development activity in the London office, identifying opportunities and increasing VAT's visibility across service lines.
- Oversee VAT compliance processes and ensure high-quality delivery, with a focus on continuous improvement and use of technology.
- Manage and develop the London VAT team, while contributing to the wider national VAT strategy and training initiatives.

What We Are Looking For
- ACA/CTA qualified with proven experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level within VAT.
- Strong UK VAT technical expertise, with exposure to international VAT issues.

- Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality advisory work in a professional services environment.
