Responsibilities
- Provide bespoke tax advice to clients ranging from OMBs to AIM-listed entities, working alongside influential tax partners.
- Split of work: approximately 80% advisory and 20% compliance.
- Advise on the operation of corporation tax reliefs and exemptions, including the substantial exemption and R&D tax credits.
- Perform high-level reviews of corporate tax computations to identify planning opportunities and ensure complex areas have been addressed correctly.
- Work on international tax principles, such as transfer pricing, the operation of tax treaties, and the mechanics of double tax relief.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate should be client-focused with a solid knowledge base of corporate tax issues and compliance procedures.
- Ability to supervise and develop other team members who handle related areas.
