Corporate Tax Manager (Advisory)

£55,000 – £65,000 + Bonus

Do you enjoy working on corporate tax advisory? Do you want to work for a firm that does things a little different? Fancy a pure tax advisory role? Currently working in corporate tax compliance but want to do advisory? Assistant Corporate Tax Manager looking to step up?

Your new role

I’m currently working with a leading tax advisory practice in the UK who are looking to expand in Glasgow. A well-known and growing firm they provide a range of tax advisory services to OMBs and large groups across the UK.

You’ll be joining a newly created Glasgow office and assist the wider team with a variety of tax advisory matters.

Responsibilities

  • As a Corporate Tax Advisory Manager you will get involved in a range of tax advisory including M&A, Mergers, Demergers, Restructuring, Due Diligence, Succession Planning, EMI Scheme, and Share Schemes.
  • Due to the variety of advisory work the above work will be tailored around your experience and skill set.
  • You’ll work with a wider team across the UK and support with the development of the Glasgow office through networking and business development activities.

Qualifications

  • ACA / ACCA / ATT / CTA qualified
  • Experience working in corporate tax compliance or advisory
  • Big 4 / Top 10 experience is welcomed (a lot of the team are ex big firm)
  • M&A experience is desirable but not essential
  • Desire to work on corporate tax advisory projects
