We are working exclusively on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded firm to identify a technically strong and commercially minded Business Tax Director, with future potential to step into the Head of Tax role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Take ownership of an established and growing Tax function, contribute to firm-wide strategy, and play a central role in delivering high-quality, solutions-led advice to a diverse and growing client base.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading on complex client engagements, supporting business and their owners development efforts, and collaborating closely with partners and senior stakeholders across the firm.
- Take responsibility for key client relationships, lead commercial proposals, and ensure consistent delivery of technically robust and commercially practical solutions.
- Mentor junior team members, contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and support the long-term development of the firm’s tax offering.
- Follow a defined pathway to future leadership for the right individual, combining strong technical expertise with sound commercial judgement and leadership capability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified tax professional (ACA, CTA or equivalent).
- Significant experience across UK Corporate Tax compliance and advisory services.
- Strong understanding of international tax issues, group structuring, and transactional matters.
- Hands-on experience working with R&D and Transfer Pricing queries.
