A leading Top 10 Capital Allowances & Real Estate Tax team is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Corporate Tax practice. This is a client-facing role working across a diverse portfolio of corporate, LLP, and individual clients, with excellent opportunities for career progression.
Role Overview
- Manage and deliver capital allowance and land remediation relief claims across multiple sectors
- Conduct site surveys and analyse construction/refurbishment costs in line with HMRC guidance
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate capital allowance claims
- Advise clients on fixed-asset tax treatment and incentives
- Support business development and mentor junior team members
Skills & Experience
- Background in surveying, cost consultancy, or capital allowance work
- Strong understanding of construction technology, cost breakdowns, and technical drawings
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- RICS or relevant professional qualification desirable
