A leading Top 10 Capital Allowances & Real Estate Tax team is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Corporate Tax practice. This is a client-facing role working across a diverse portfolio of corporate, LLP, and individual clients, with excellent opportunities for career progression.

Role Overview

  • Manage and deliver capital allowance and land remediation relief claims across multiple sectors
  • Conduct site surveys and analyse construction/refurbishment costs in line with HMRC guidance
  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate capital allowance claims
  • Advise clients on fixed-asset tax treatment and incentives
  • Support business development and mentor junior team members

Skills & Experience

  • Background in surveying, cost consultancy, or capital allowance work
  • Strong understanding of construction technology, cost breakdowns, and technical drawings
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • RICS or relevant professional qualification desirable
