We're partnering with an exciting, recently launched accountancy practice within a rapidly growing multidisciplinary professional services group that supports entrepreneurs, start-ups and owner-managed businesses throughout their growth journey.
As the business continues to scale, they are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager to become a key member of the Accountancy-as-a-Service team, providing specialist tax advice while helping to shape and develop the firm's tax offering from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with founders and growing businesses, delivering practical, commercially focused tax advice across a varied client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the lead tax advisor for a portfolio of SME and start-up clients
- Advising on Corporation Tax, Personal Tax and VAT matters
- Reviewing tax computations and returns
- Identifying tax planning opportunities, reliefs and efficiencies
- Advising on business structuring and growth-related tax considerations
- Supporting clients with cross-border and international tax issues
- Acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related queries
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients and advising on appropriate structures
- Working closely with the wider accountancy team to deliver an outstanding client experience
- Contributing to the development of the firm's tax processes, knowledge resources and service offering
About You:
- 10+ years' tax experience
- QBE, ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA qualified or equivalent
- Strong UK Corporation Tax, VAT and Personal Tax knowledge
- Experience advising SMEs, start-ups and owner-managed businesses
- Knowledge of international and cross-border tax matters
- Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
