Job Description
Tax Assistant Manager / Tax Manager (Tax Advisory)£45,000 – £55,000 (DOE) Manchester City Centre (with hybrid working) Do you enjoy tax advisory projects? Would you like to work on tax advisory work full time? Enjoy M&A projects? A unique and exciting tax practice in Manchester are looking for experienced and confident tax advisory professionals to join their growing offering in the North West. Offering a workload like no other firm, this will give anyone from a qualified level upwards the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging advisory projects.Advisory work will include a range of tax queries including M&A, Due diligence reports, share schemes, international tax advice, valuations, share schemes and structuring / restructuring.Your new role in tax advisory:
- You'll work closely with an experienced corporate advisory that comes from a broad range of backgrounds in corporate advisory and compliance.
- As mentioned above you will focus on supporting a range of clients with tax advisory services, working with lots of growing OMBs on both buy side and sell side transactions.
- As well as supporting on your core advisory projects you will also get involved in a range of other tax works supporting areas in private client, employment tax, R&D and indirect tax.

What you'll need to be successful:
- You'll need to be ATT / ACA / CTA qualified and be able to demonstrate you have experience delivering corporate advisory projects or corporate compliance assignments.
- A background in corporate advisory is desirable but compliance backgrounds can be considered too.
- An interest in developing more junior staff members.
