Job Description
Personal Tax Manager Stockport £45,000 – £55,000 + Benefits We are currently working with leading professional services firm in South Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced bring in an experienced Tax Manger to join their growing private client team. You'll be working with a varied clients base of Business owners, High Net worth Individuals, entrepreneurs and trusts/estates. In your new role you'll be responsible for the following:
- Working closely with the private client partner and wider team you'll be managing your own client portfolio acting as a go to client contact.
- You'll be supporting with a range of compliance needs and associated documentation, regularly liaising with HMRC.
- As well as supporting on any compliance needs, you'll also be getting involved in a range of tax planning and advisory needs.
- As you develop you'll also be helping to run the team and offer guidance to more junior staff members across the firm.
What are we looking for?
- Personal tax/private client experience working for a UK Accountancy firm
- Ideally be CTA qualified however we will also consider ATT and ACA/ACCA qualifications
- Experience running a personal tax compliance portfolio
- Tax advisory & planning experience is desirable
