A highly regarded Top 10 accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join its specialist Trust & Family Office team. This is an opportunity to work alongside recognised experts advising trusts, family offices, high-net-worth families and international wealth structures, with exposure to some of the most technically challenging private client work in the market.

The Opportunity

As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager, you'll take ownership of a high-quality portfolio of trust and private client relationships while advising on sophisticated UK and international planning matters. Working closely with Partners and Directors, you'll gain exposure to complex trust structures, succession planning, inheritance tax, family office matters and cross-border wealth planning, whilst playing a key role in developing the next generation of trust specialists. At Senior Manager level, the role becomes increasingly advisory-focused, with significant involvement in strategic and technically challenging client assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of trusts, family offices and private clients
  • Advising trustees, beneficiaries and wealthy families on complex tax matters
  • Leading on trust, estate and succession planning assignments
  • Delivering a blend of compliance and advisory work with a strong advisory focus
  • Working on UK and international trust structures
  • Reviewing technical work and ensuring exceptional client service
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

About You

You are likely to be:

  • CTA and/or ACA qualified
  • Operating at Manager or Senior Manager level
  • Experienced in trust taxation and trust administration
  • Comfortable managing relationships with trustees and private clients
  • Able to handle technically complex trust and estate matters
  • Looking to build a long-term career within a specialist trust practice
  • Experience of international trust structures, offshore trusts, inheritance tax and family office clients would be particularly advantageous.
