We are currently leading independent accountancy firm in Yorkshire who are looking to grow their corporate tax advisory business.
Your new role:
- Lead the delivery of corporate tax advisory services to a portfolio of clients across various sectors
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients' commercial objectives
- Ensure clients remain compliant with UK and international tax legislation
- Provide expert guidance on corporate tax matters including restructures, mergers, acquisitions, and disposals
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex corporate tax computations and returns
- Advise on transfer pricing policies and ensure appropriate documentation is in place
- Manage relationships with HMRC on behalf of clients, including handling enquiries and audits
- Monitor legislative changes and communicate implications to clients and internal teams
- Support clients with tax risk management and governance frameworks
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering technical development and client service excellence
- Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients
- Contribute to business development through client relationship management and proposal support
- Drive process improvements and adoption of tax technology within the practice
- Provide tax forecasts and planning support to clients' finance teams
What you'll need to be successful:
- CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA qualified
- UK corporate tax experience working within practice
- Experience with OMBs and larger corporates
