Employment Tax Senior Manager – Top 30 Accountancy Firm

Leeds£65,000 – £75,000 + Hybrid Working + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Employment Tax professional ready to take ownership of a growing client portfolio?Do you enjoy leading advisory projects, developing high-performing teams, and working with clients across a diverse range of sectors?This is a brilliant opportunity to join a respected national firm during an exciting period of growth and play a key role in shaping its Employment Tax offering.

Your new role:As an Employment Tax Senior Manager, you'll lead the delivery of complex employment tax advisory projects while developing relationships with key clients across multiple industries. You'll take a strategic role in driving business growth, managing a talented team, and delivering technical excellence across areas such as IR35, PAYE/NIC, CIS, National Minimum Wage, and reward structuring.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex Employment Tax advisory and HMRC enquiry projects
  • Providing strategic advice on employment status, contractor compliance, and reward planning
  • Managing a portfolio of high-value clients across varied sectors
  • Developing and mentoring a team of Managers and junior staff
  • Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to proposals and tenders
  • Delivering technical training sessions and employment tax updates internally and externally
  • Working closely with Partners to drive service line growth and ensure best-in-class delivery

About you:

  • Strong technical expertise in Employment Tax, ideally gained within practice
  • CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven track record of managing clients and delivering high-quality advisory projects
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership and commercial skills
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and build long-term client relationships
