Your new firm:A leading independent accountancy and business advisory firm with offices across the North of England and Scotland are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join their growing Leeds team.You'll be part of a national Tax Consultancy service line, working alongside senior management and partners to deliver complex corporate tax compliance and advisory services across a diverse client portfolio.
Your new role:As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you'll take ownership of your own client portfolio, review complex tax computations, and provide proactive advisory support. You'll also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior team members while contributing to the continued growth of the firm's corporate tax offering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and reviewing corporate tax compliance work prepared by junior colleagues
- Providing technical support and tax planning advice to a range of clients
- Monitoring workflow, recoveries, and billing across your portfolio
- Line management responsibilities for Tax Seniors and Trainees
- Delivering internal training and mentoring to support team development
- Liaising with clients and wider teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- CTA qualified, with at least 2 years' experience in corporate tax compliance/advisory
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with excellent client relationship skills
- Ability to lead, mentor and support junior team members
- Experience using Alphatax (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
