Your new firm:
A leading independent accountancy and business advisory firm with offices across the North of England and Scotland are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join their expanding Leeds office. You'll be joining a growing national Tax Consultancy service line, working closely with experienced Managers and Directors while developing your technical skills and progressing towards Assistant Manager level.
Your new role:
As a Corporate Tax Senior, you'll support a varied portfolio of clients, assisting with both compliance and advisory projects. You'll prepare and review tax computations, liaise directly with clients, and gain exposure to tax planning assignments alongside senior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Assisting with the delivery of corporate tax advisory and planning projects
- Supporting senior staff with technical queries and client meetings
- Reviewing work prepared by junior colleagues
- Managing workflow, deadlines, and client communication
- Identifying opportunities for efficiency and added value
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- AAT or ATT qualified, or working towards CTA/ACA/ACCA
- Practical experience in Corporate Tax compliance (advisory experience desirable)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive approach and enthusiasm to learn
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience using Alphatax (advantageous)
