Your new role:
As a Corporate AdvisoryTax Manager, you'll work closely with clients to deliver proactive, high-quality tax advice across a wide range of complex matters.
This is an advisory-led role, where the majority of your work will involve supporting clients with planning, structuring, and strategic decision-making, alongside managing ad hoc projects. While there will be some involvement in compliance to stay connected with client portfolios, the core of your responsibilities will be centred on delivering advisory solutions and guiding the team in this area.
Alongside advising clients, you'll play a key role in shaping the team's technical development, driving performance, and ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Review tax work to ensure accuracy and high standards
- Analyse and monitor team performance to identify training needs
- Deliver training and mentoring to tax team members
- Ensure profitability and efficiency across the team
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- ATT qualified (CTA preferred) or qualified by experience
- Minimum 5 years' management experience in practice within an income tax compliance role
- Strong knowledge of income tax compliance and UK tax regulations
- Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
- Proven track record of client service delivery
- Experience dealing with NHS Superannuation issues (advantageous)
