An established and highly regarded independent accountancy firm in Oxfordshire is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join its growing private client tax team. This genuinely varied role offers a mix of compliance and advisory exposure, working with owner‑managed businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and estates.

Role

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Preparing and reviewing self‑assessment tax returns
  • Capital gains tax work
  • Rental property taxation
  • Trust and estate tax work
  • Assisting with inheritance tax and estate planning matters
  • Supporting on ad hoc advisory projects
  • Liaising directly with clients and professional contacts
  • Supporting junior staff where appropriate

Candidate

  • Previous experience within personal tax in an accountancy practice
  • Strong compliance knowledge
  • The ability to manage work independently
  • Good communication and client‑facing skills
  • An interest in broader advisory work
