As a Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager based in Edinburgh, you will provide management support to the UK transfer pricing team, working closely with senior team members to deliver complex advisory projects from business development through to delivery. You'll lead functional analysis interviews, work with your team to apply transfer pricing principles to complex scenarios, and contribute directly to the development and growth of the practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex functional analysis interviews and capturing entity contributions to risk management and intangibles DEMPE
- Anticipating and applying transfer pricing solutions to complex client scenarios
- Supporting senior team members in managing transfer pricing projects end to end
- Contributing to multi-jurisdictional documentation projects
- Managing and developing junior team members
- Supporting business development activity within the transfer pricing practice
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification - or an Economist with postgraduate qualifications
- Experience preparing, reviewing and delivering transfer pricing policy design and planning
- Experience on multi-jurisdictional documentation projects
- Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively within a close-knit team
- Ideally some exposure to thin capitalisation projects
