The Role

  • Preparing statutory accounts under FRS102, FRS102 1A and FRS105
  • Working with a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
  • Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries
  • Supporting managers with workflow, deadlines and client delivery
  • Reviewing work where appropriate, depending on experience
  • Building your technical knowledge and client‑facing confidence
  • Supporting junior members of the team as you progress

About You

  • Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong accounts preparation experience
  • Good UK GAAP knowledge
  • Exposure to corporation tax would be useful
  • ACA/ACCA qualified, part‑qualified or qualified by experience
  • Confidence speaking with clients directly
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • The ability to produce good‑quality work while managing deadlines
  • Agricultural client experience would be useful, but it is not essential.
