The firm supports clients through acquisitions, disposals and capital markets transactions, providing high-quality, commercially focused financial due diligence.
This is a senior opportunity within a well-established Transaction Services team, with genuine scope to influence the direction of the business, develop people and build long-term client relationships.
The opportunity
You’ll play a key role in developing and growing the Transaction Services offering within Corporate Finance, working closely with Partners, Directors and other Associate Directors. Alongside delivery, you’ll help shape service lines, mentor team members and contribute to business development. The role suits someone comfortable operating autonomously at a senior level, while collaborating closely with leadership and stakeholders across the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management and growth of the Corporate Finance / Transaction Services team
- Lead and project manage large and complex financial due diligence engagements
- Take ownership of project delivery, timelines, budgets and issue resolution
- Develop existing and new service offerings within Transaction Services
- Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of clients’ businesses and sectors
- Provide technical leadership and oversight on due diligence work
- Manage, mentor and develop team members, including appraisals, training and progression
- Act as a role model and senior point of contact within the team
- Convert existing opportunities into further Corporate Finance work
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Contribute to proposals, pitching and wider marketing activity
- Understand broader firm services and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Provide and act on clear, honest and timely feedback
About you
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent), or equivalent experience
- Strong background in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence
- Experience working within Corporate Finance
- Proven management and leadership experience
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- For capital markets exposure, a solid understanding of relevant legislation
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded, proactive and adaptable in a dynamic environment
