We are currently working with a leading Big 4 Corporate & International tax team in Manchester who are looking to expand with an experienced Corporate Tax Manager or Corporate Tax Senior Manager. This team focuses primarily on supporting large businesses including FTSE 100, 250 & AIM listed companies, as well as supporting large scale energy clients.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, managing both compliance and advisory matters.
- Lead client accounts and contribute to shaping their tax strategies.
- Deliver high-quality UK and international tax advisory services.
- Provide expert input on major corporate transactions and restructuring projects.
- Support audit teams with tax-related insights for large corporate clients.
- Collaborate with project teams on complex, one-off assignments.
- Apply technical tax knowledge in a dynamic and intellectually challenging environment.
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their development.
- Develop deeper expertise in specialist areas such as international structuring, treasury tax, or industry-specific tax issues.
- Work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic tax solutions.
Qualifications
- Suitably qualified in tax (ACCA, ACA, CTA, ATT, etc).
- Strong UK corporate tax knowledge.
- Pillar 2 experience (desirable, not essential).
- Experience working on a mixture of corporate tax advisory matters, global restructuring, due diligence, M&A, etc.
