Our client is seeking a Not-for-Profit Tax Partner to establish and lead a specialist tax offering within one of the UK's most respected not-for-profit and charity client portfolios. The firm already advises a substantial number of charities, educational institutions, membership bodies, social enterprises and wider not-for-profit organisations through a well-established audit and advisory practice. As the client base continues to grow, there is a clear strategic need to build a dedicated tax specialism to complement the wider offering. This represents a rare opportunity for an experienced Not-for-Profit tax specialist to create, shape and lead a practice with significant existing client demand and strong support from the wider partnership.
The Role
- Lead the firm's Not-for-Profit tax offering.
- Advise charities, educational institutions, membership organisations and social enterprises on a broad range of tax matters.
- Work closely with audit and advisory partners to identify opportunities across an established client base.
- Build and develop a dedicated Not-for-Profit tax team.
- Drive business development activity and enhance the firm's profile within the sector.
- Act as a trusted adviser to boards, trustees, finance directors and executive leadership teams.
Why This Opportunity?
- Established Client Base: The firm already has a significant presence within the not-for-profit sector, providing immediate access to clients and opportunities.
- Build Something Meaningful: This is a genuine leadership opportunity to create and develop a specialist practice, rather than simply joining an existing team.
- Strategic Investment Area: The firm recognises the importance of providing specialist tax expertise to support its growing not-for-profit client base and is committed to investing in the right individual.
- Collaborative Culture: Partners work closely across service lines, creating a highly supportive environment with strong cross-referral opportunities.

- Experience advising charities, educational institutions, membership bodies and wider sector organisations.
- A track record of building trusted client relationships and winning work.
- The ambition to lead and develop a specialist practice.
- A collaborative and commercial mindset.
The Opportunity for the Right Individual
Opportunities of this nature are exceptionally rare. The successful candidate will inherit access to a substantial client base, receive full support from the wider partnership and have the autonomy to build a market-leading Not-for-Profit tax practice within an ambitious and growing firm.
