We are growing our Professional Services Search team and looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join us at an exciting stage of our journey. This role is ideal for an experienced agency recruiter who wants to move into a more search‑focused environment, working on senior‑level roles with salaries typically exceeding £100k.

Our work sits firmly at the quality end of the market, where success comes from insight, credibility and relationships – not volume. You’ll work closely with experienced consultants who are deeply embedded in their markets, gaining first‑hand exposure to high‑value assignments and long‑term client relationships from day one.

This team focuses on very senior appointments where they take a search‑led approach to recruitment. The initial focus on market mapping, research and candidate engagement is intentional – it allows you to:

  • Build genuine expertise in a specialist market
  • Develop strong relationships with senior professionals
  • Learn how to deliver complex, high‑value recruitment processes
  • Operate in a way that mirrors retained and executive search

This foundation sets you up to become a high‑performing 360 consultant, confident at the senior end of the market.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Market mapping and identifying senior‑level talent
  • Proactively engaging candidates for £100k+ salary roles
  • Conducting detailed candidate conversations and assessments
  • Supporting live search assignments from briefing through to placement
  • Preparing and briefing candidates throughout the process
  • Working closely with senior consultants on client strategy

Alongside the search element, you’ll also gain early and ongoing client exposure, including:

  • Sitting in on client briefings and meetings
  • Supporting client communications and delivery
  • Gradually taking on client responsibility as you progress

Over time, the role naturally evolves into a balanced 360 recruitment position.

Who We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has experience in technical recruitment, in a target‑driven role where you are used to working to tight deadlines
  • Wants to move into higher‑value, search‑led recruitment
  • Enjoys engaging with senior professionals
  • Is commercially aware, curious and motivated to progress
  • Works well autonomously and takes ownership

You don’t need prior professional services or search experience – we’ll provide the structure, mentoring and exposure to help you succeed.

How We Work at Pro Group

  • Hybrid / largely remote working
  • High trust, low micromanagement culture
  • Focus on quality, not volume
  • Supportive leadership and genuine mentorship

Why Join Pro Group

  • Clear pathway into search‑focused, senior‑level recruitment
  • Exposure to £100k+ salary mandates
  • Hands‑on mentoring from experienced consultants
  • Progression into a full 360 role
  • A growing, ambitious business with a strong market reputation

If you’re looking to step up into a more consultative, search‑led role and build a long‑term career in professional services recruitment, we’d love to hear from you.

As an employer, we are committed to ensuring the representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, or any other aspect which makes them unique.
