We are working exclusively on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded firm to identify a technically strong and commercially minded Corporate Tax Director, with a clear path to the firm’s Head of Tax role. This is a critical leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of an established and growing Tax function, contribute to firm-wide strategy, and play a central role in delivering high-quality, solutions-led advice to a diverse and growing client base.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex client engagements with a high degree of autonomy
- Support business and owners’ development efforts, collaborating closely with partners and senior stakeholders across the firm
- Take responsibility for key client relationships and lead commercial proposals
- Ensure consistent delivery of technically robust and commercially practical solutions
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing team culture
- Support the long‑term development of the firm's tax offering
Qualifications
- Qualified tax professional (ACA, CTA or equivalent)
- Significant experience across a variety of UK Corporate Tax advisory projects
- Strong understanding of international tax issues, group structuring, and transactional matters
- Hands‑on experience with R&D, M&A and Transfer Pricing queries
- Excellent commercial judgement, leadership capability, and long‑term career focus
