For the largest and most exciting transport projects in Europe, we are recruiting several Assistant Commercial Managers to support the delivery of commercial activities within several delivery teams, working alongside the supply chain, contractors, and consultancies. Reporting to a Commercial Manager, this role will suit someone with 2-3 years' experience within QS, Cost or Commercial, with excellent working knowledge of Civils, NEC contracts, and compensation events.

Main Duties

  • Pre-contract - support commercial works information, and drafting contract documents
  • Procurement - support the development of a contract management plan
  • Post Contract - support the delivery of contract management, and the administration of the obligations of the Project Managers under the NEC3 Contract
  • Support the validations and compensation events
  • Support contract payments assessment, analysis of supply chain monthly reporting, and contract-level performance information
  • Support the settlement of supply chain disputes and estimate reviews at all stages

Person Specification

  • Experience as a Junior QS, Assistant QS or Assistant Cost Consultant
  • Experience within construction, Civils, Major Works, MEPH
  • Experience with NEC3 Contracts (Option F and Option C)
  • Experience using CEMAR would be desirable
  • Experience administering contracts delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Experience with resolution processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of contract, commercial, and risk management methods
