This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing VAT team delivering complex, high‑value advisory and compliance projects, while working closely with senior stakeholders across a variety of sectors including Energy, Manufacturing, Retail, Aerospace, and Travel.
About the Role- Lead and deliver complex VAT compliance and reporting engagements across the UK, EU, and international jurisdictions
- Provide technical VAT advisory support, including structuring, governance, and tax function effectiveness reviews
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, engaging directly with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers
- Support dispute resolution processes and HMRC engagement, while contributing to international VAT structuring projects
- Be part of one of the largest non‑Big4 VAT teams in the UK, offering scale, expertise, and career progression
- Join a firm experiencing strong double‑digit growth (from £13.5m to £20m revenue in 3 years)
- Work on high‑value, complex projects (£50k‑£100k) with direct exposure to senior client leadership
- Collaborate within a national team of over 130 indirect tax professionals, with clear opportunities to develop and specialise
- ACA / ATT/ CTA qualification or equivalent
- Excellent technical VAT knowledge combined with strong commercial awareness
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and engage with senior stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or developing junior team members, with a collaborative and proactive approach
