Role overview
- Prepare and review valuations for tax purposes, including tax‐advantaged option plans, employment‐related securities, Capital Gains Tax transactions, probate, and corporate reorganisations.
- Apply appropriate valuation methodologies to a range of share types, such as ordinary shares, growth shares, and ratchet shares.
- Advise clients on the tax implications of equity reward structures, including employment‐related securities and share schemes.
- Support tax due diligence projects by identifying and quantifying risks related to equity incentives and share schemes.
- Manage annual compliance processes for employment‐related securities and tax‐advantaged share schemes.
- Lead client engagements and contribute to the development of junior team members through coaching and technical guidance.
Qualifications
- Suitable qualification, including CTA, ATT, ACCA, or ACA.
- Experience or exposure to tax valuations.
- Audit background with a desire to move into a different area.
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of how business valuations work.
