Your new firm
Our client is a Top 10 Accountancy firm and the UK's largest SME-focused practice, with a wide network of offices across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics. Following continued growth in their Leeds Private Client Tax team, they are now looking to appoint a Tax Manager to join a collaborative and high performing team.
Your new role
As a Private Client Tax Manager you will deliver a broad range of tax advisory services to private clients across the region, working closely with Partners and Directors to deliver a high quality service. You'll help build and develop the private client business, manage and develop junior team members through coaching and appraisals, and take ownership of your own utilisation, productivity and WIP.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering tax advisory services to a varied portfolio of private clients across multiple sectors
- Supporting Partners and Directors in delivering a quality client service
- Liaising with clients to resolve complex tax queries
- Contributing to the growth and development of the private client business
- Managing, coaching and appraising junior team members
- Monitoring own utilisation, productivity and WIP
Qualifications
- CTA / ACA / ACCA / CA qualification or equivalent
- Strong private client, personal tax or mixed tax experience within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
- Experience of trusts would be beneficial
- Previous experience of incorporations
- Exposure across multiple sectors would be an advantage
