Our client is a Top 10 Accountancy firm and a leading global professional services network, delivering quality across audit, tax, advisory and consulting. Their UK transfer pricing team is rapidly growing and advisory led, with direct connections to an international transfer pricing community spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Your new role
As a Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager based in Glasgow, you will provide management support to the UK transfer pricing team, working closely with senior team members to deliver complex advisory projects from business development through to delivery. You'll lead functional analysis interviews, work with your team to apply transfer pricing principles to complex scenarios, and contribute directly to the development and growth of the practice. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an ambitious transfer pricing professional looking to develop their career within a high quality, internationally connected team.
Key responsibilities
- Leading complex functional analysis interviews and capturing entity contributions to risk management and intangibles DEMPE
- Anticipating and applying transfer pricing solutions to complex client scenarios
- Supporting senior team members in managing transfer pricing projects end to end
- Contributing to multi-jurisdictional documentation projects
- Managing and developing junior team members
- Supporting business development activity within the transfer pricing practice
Qualifications and requirements
- ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification – or an Economist with postgraduate qualifications
- Experience preparing, reviewing and delivering transfer pricing policy design and planning
- Experience on multi-jurisdictional documentation projects
- Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively within a close-knit team
- Ideally some exposure to thin capitalisation projects
