Our client, a leading professional services firm are looking for experienced employment tax professionals to join their rapidly growing team based in London.

This fast-growing team is currently looking for tax professionals who can support clients in various employment-related areas. As an Employment Tax Manager, your role would involve advising a wide range of national and global clients on many aspects of employment-related governance and risks while also looking to develop new opportunities.

In this role you will be:

  • Providing advice in respect of PAYE and NIC matters, including payroll, expenses and benefits and dealing with year-end reporting (PSA, Form 42, and P11Ds).
  • Assisting clients with HMRC investigations and liaising with tax authorities.
  • Advising on the tax/NIC treatment of non-cash remuneration.
  • Undertaking large projects to meet HMRC requirements.
  • Developing expenses and benefits policies and procedures for clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Employment Tax Knowledge: A deep knowledge and understanding of employment-based tax legislation and seek to enhance knowledge in employment taxes and governance issues.
  • Professional Development: Either have or be willing to gain knowledge in Construction Industry Scheme, pay governance, and hold or work towards a recognized tax qualification (CTA).
  • Team Player: Able to work and collaborate with the wider team on client assignments and be focused on high-quality client service.
  • Learning Mindset: Be agile and willing to develop experience and knowledge in broader areas of Reward and Employment.
