An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join a Top 15 Firm in Edinburgh. Working closely with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers, you will play a key role in delivering both compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of private clients. This position offers the chance to combine technical expertise, client relationship management and team leadership within a collaborative and highly regarded tax practice.
About the Role
- Manage a portfolio of high‐net‐worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, landed estates and professional services clients, providing both compliance and advisory support.
- Review the work of junior team members, ensuring technical accuracy, quality of service and adherence to statutory deadlines.
- Advise clients on a broad range of tax matters including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trust planning, international tax considerations and succession planning.
- Monitor budgets, billing and client profitability while maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
