Your role as an Accounts Manager:

  • Manage a portfolio of Agriculture clients and oversee annual accounts and business tax computations.
  • Provide advice on annual remuneration planning and profit forecasts.
  • Advise on capital taxes and review VAT returns.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify valuable tax planning and commercial opportunities.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Represent the firm at client and industry events.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with post‑qualification experience.
  • Experience managing your own portfolio.
  • Working experience with rural/agriculture/farming clients or a genuine interest in the industry.
  • Strong management rapport to mentor the accounts team.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Xero and Sage.
