Your role as an Accounts Manager:
- Manage a portfolio of Agriculture clients and oversee annual accounts and business tax computations.
- Provide advice on annual remuneration planning and profit forecasts.
- Advise on capital taxes and review VAT returns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify valuable tax planning and commercial opportunities.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Represent the firm at client and industry events.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with post‑qualification experience.
- Experience managing your own portfolio.
- Working experience with rural/agriculture/farming clients or a genuine interest in the industry.
- Strong management rapport to mentor the accounts team.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Xero and Sage.
