We are working with a highly respected and growing accountancy and business management firm that supports clients across the entertainment, media, sports, technology and creative sectors.

This is not your typical bookkeeping role.

You’ll work alongside experienced accountants and finance professionals, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from entrepreneurs and fast-growing businesses to high-net-worth individuals and well-known names within the creative industries.

The Opportunity

As Bookkeeper, you will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to‑day accounting requirements of a varied client portfolio.

This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, and wants to develop their accounting career within a professional yet friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising and processing sales invoices
  • Allocating receipts and maintaining sales ledger records
  • Processing supplier invoices and managing payment runs
  • Maintaining purchase ledger accuracy
  • Reconciling bank accounts and monitoring cash positions
  • Processing and reconciling company credit cards
  • Managing petty cash and expense claims
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts
  • Performing month-end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting VAT return preparation
  • Assisting with management accounts
  • Supporting year-end accounts preparation
  • Assisting with personal and corporate tax information gathering
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and financial documentation

About You

  • Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Finance Assistant position
  • Experience using accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero or Sage
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A professional and client-focused approach
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
