A leading Big 4 firm is looking to appoint a talented Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing Audit & Accounting Related Tax Services team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional who works at the intersection of tax and accounting, supporting a diverse and high-profile client base ranging from fast-growing businesses through to large multinational groups.
The role offers broad exposure to complex tax reporting and audit-related projects, working closely with audit teams, senior tax stakeholders, and clients on technically challenging assignments. You will review and advise on tax disclosures, interpret evolving legislation, and help clients navigate increasingly complex reporting requirements in a commercially focused way.
There is significant client interaction and the chance to build long-term relationships across a varied portfolio. You will work within a highly collaborative environment, mentoring junior team members and partnering with colleagues across wider tax and audit teams.
Responsibilities- Review and advise on tax disclosures and reporting in relation to UK corporate tax and accounting for tax (including deferred tax and financial statement disclosures).
- Interpret evolving tax legislation and apply it to client engagements.
- Collaborate with audit teams and senior tax stakeholders to deliver complex tax and accounting related services.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and work with colleagues across tax and audit teams.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
- Strong grounding in UK corporate tax and accounting for tax, including deferred tax and financial statement disclosures.
- Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
