Our client is one of the Big 4 firms based in London, providing high-quality corporate accounting services to a broad portfolio of UK and international clients. Their Accounting Services team delivers outsourced accounting solutions, helping organisations remain compliant while also providing valuable insight into their financial operations. Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory financial statements (SFS)
- Delivery of outsourced accounting services to a range of clients
- Supporting clients through secondments where additional resource is required
- Bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts
- Managing and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts for international clients
- Providing advisory support on:
- Statutory accounting and compliance requirements
- Improvements to financial reporting processes and cycles
Qualifications:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or international equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to work from first principles
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS, with some awareness of US GAAP
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
- Experience working in practice or a client-facing environment
- Highly organised and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop junior team members
