The Opportunity
A top 10 advisory firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Director to take on a key leadership role within their growing team. This is a high-impact position with real influencing a portfolio of high-value clients while helping shape the future direction of the private client offering.
The Role
This is a broad, senior role combining technical excellence with strategic leadership. You'll act as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals on complex tax matters, while also driving growth through business development and cross-service collaboration.
Internally, you'll play a pivotal role in developing the mentoring senior staff, strengthening capability, and fostering a high-performance culture.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading on complex private client tax advisory and compliance work
- Building and managing long-term relationships with high-value clients
- Driving business development and expanding a profitable client portfolio
- Providing leadership, direction, and mentorship to senior team members
- Contributing to wider business strategy and operational improvements
- Identifying opportunities to enhance and grow the service offering
About You
- Currently operating at Senior Manager or Director level in private client tax
- Strong experience advising high-net-worth individuals
- Proven track record of winning and developing business
- Commercially minded with strong strategic awareness
- A confident, credible leader who can influence at all levels
- CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
