THE ROLE
- Your own portfolio of clients, with you as their main contact
- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
- Corporation tax computations, CT600s and self-assessment returns
- Keeping clients compliant, including MTD for Income Tax
- Agreeing a written tax plan with each company and director client every year
- Running client meetings by video and spotting where they need extra advice
- Reviewing junior colleagues' work and helping them develop
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- ACCA, ACA or MAAT qualified, or a finalist
- A solid UK accountancy practice background
- Confidence with accounts, corporation tax and SA100s
- Happy leading client meetings and owning the relationship
- Commercial awareness: time recording, WIP and billing
- Xero, FreeAgent or QuickBooks experience
