Audit Senior – Manchester
£40,000 – £48,000 | ACA/ACCA Qualified | Broad Client Exposure | Flexible Hybrid Working
We’re working with a highly respected and long-established accountancy firm in Manchester that’s looking to welcome a talented Audit Senior to their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with at least 12–24 months’ experience in a similar role. You’ll join a supportive and forward-thinking firm that offers exposure to a wide variety of sectors, excellent internal training, and genuine scope to develop your career.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning, leading and completing audits for a portfolio of small and medium-sized companies and charities
- Supporting, supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Preparing financial statements as part of audit assignments
- Preparing corporation tax computations (optional)
- Contributing to ad-hoc assignments such as cashflow forecasts and financial due diligence projects
What we’re looking for:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in a similar audit-focused role
- Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients and colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge
- Experience with CCH software and Alphatax (training provided if needed)
- A proactive approach and a genuine desire to learn and progress
