We are working with adynamic and rapidly growing accountancy practice based in Brighton, who pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and developing strong relationships with their clients.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and develop a diverse portfolio of client.
- Plan and prioritize client accounts work, establishing scope and budget for each task
- Directly work with clients to strengthen relationships and expand advisory services
- Support and manage the office team, including work plan allocations and team training
- Supervise team members, ensuring effective communication and providing updates on task progress
- Prepare and review advisory work, including management accounts, cashflow forecasting, and VAT returns
- Manage portfolio operations, including timely billing, WIP reviews, and debtor collection
- Represent the firm at networking events to build our local profile and identify new business opportunities
Qualifications and Skills
- ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in an accountancy role, preferably within a practice.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and flexible team player.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
