ProTalent are currently working with a fabulous worldwide business with offices in Lewes who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their Finance Team. Amazing package on offer of Β£20-30k salary and private medical insurance, along with flexible hours and free parking!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inputting purchase invoices to the finance system
- Matching invoices to POs and ensuring they have been correctly coded and approved
- Reconciling supplier statements, filing invoices and resolving supplier queries
- Processing expenses and credit card payments
- Preparing BACs payments for authorisation
- Recording and maintaining prepayments
- Assisting in other ad-hoc duties as required
Essential skills
- At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role, industry or practice bookkeeping
- Be hard working, organised and with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Good team player with flexible approach to ensure deadlines are met
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications

- Experience of working within a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage
