Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a hands-on, strategic role within a dynamic and growing manufacturing business? We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturer in East Sussex, recently backed by private equity investment, to find a commercially minded Finance Manager to join their leadership team.
The Role:
This is a broad and influential position where you’ll take full ownership of the financial function and play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy. You’ll lead everything from day-to-day finance operations to forward-looking analysis and reporting, all while working closely with operational teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
- Deliver monthly and annual financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial legislation
- Drive financial planning, profitability analysis, and cost control
- Oversee payroll, procurement, and invoicing processes
- Act as the key liaison for auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
- Manage finance systems and support wider business operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE
- Strong experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Advanced knowledge of Xero and Excel
- A proactive, analytical mindset with strong leadership skills
- Comfortable working closely with production, HR, and IT teams
