Job Description Client Bookkeeper Fully remote | Must be Kent based | £28,000 - £34,000 Client Bookkeeper Fully remote, Kent based Full-time, Monday to Friday A fully remote bookkeeping job, with a small independent practice, for someone who lives in Kent. A small independent accountancy practice in Kent, led by a Chartered Accountant who built it from scratch and still works closely with every client. They look after small and medium-sized businesses across the full range, from bookkeeping and payroll through to management accounts, tax and advisory work. So the bookkeeping sits next to the advisory side rather than being processed off in a corner. Their reputation is built on communication. They are not the accountants you only hear from in January, and they aim to answer client queries the same working day. Day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients Bank reconciliations and keeping the ledgers clean Supporting monthly and quarterly management accounts Helping with payroll where it is needed Getting clients comfortable with their accounting software Remote, but Kent based. The remote set-up is the norm here, not a temporary arrangement or a two-days-from-home compromise. You would genuinely work from home. The reason they need you in Kent is so you can get to the office or to a client when it is actually useful. In practice that means occasional team days and the odd client visit, not a commute.
