A well-established accountancy firm with a network of offices across Sussex and Surrey is looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join its Bexhill team. This is a general practice role with real client contact. You'll prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders and owner-managed limited companies, handle bookkeeping, and be the person clients come to with their queries. You'll report into a Senior Manager who is invested in bringing people on, and there's a clear route to Assistant Manager for someone who wants it.
What they're looking for:
- AAT qualified, or part or fully qualified ACCA or ICAEW
- At least three years in an accountancy practice
- Accounts preparation and personal and corporate tax return experience
- Confident with QuickBooks and Xero. IRIS is a bonus
- Good Excel, including formulas and data analysis
- Comfortable speaking to clients directly and resolving queries yourself
