The Role
As a Semi-Senior or Senior in the General Practice team, your role will be varied and client-facing, including:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a wide range of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and sole traders
- Preparing corporate and personal tax computations
- Supporting with VAT returns and management accounts
- Assisting with bookkeeping duties where necessary
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
- Supporting junior team members as needed
- Working closely with senior staff and partners to deliver high-quality service
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 2–4 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice
- Part-qualified or fully qualified AAT, or studying towards ACCA/ACA (qualified-by-experience also considered)
- Strong understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
- A positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
