Accountant Position in the Automotive Industry
Client in the Automotive Industry is looking for an Accountant to join their team and supervise a team of 3 staff.
Location: Prospecton
Salary: R50 000 CTC | Negotiable
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
- Interaction with plants to resolve queries.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Reconcile and release supplier, payroll, ad-hoc payments.
- Monthly reporting in line with strict timetable.
- General ledger maintenance.
- Full monthly accounting function.
Requirements:
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer application skills, including MS Excel, Axapta / D365.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial standards, and regulations.
- 3-5 yearsβ experience in a production accounting environment.
- BCom degree or equivalent diploma.
- Automotive Industry experience preferred.
