Pro Steel Engineering is expanding, and we are now looking for experienced Welders and Fabricators to join our team at our Pontypool (New Inn) facility. This role is ideal for candidates with strong fabrication skills, alongside proven experience in MAG (135/136) and Flux‑Cored (FCAW) welding processes.
About the Role
You will be involved in the fabrication and welding of structural steel components, working from detailed technical drawings and contributing to our growing workshop output. We’re looking for individuals who take pride in producing accurate, high‑quality work and can operate effectively as part of a busy production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate structural steel components to specification
- Perform all‑position welding using MAG and FCAW processes
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication/engineering drawings
- Operate workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure weld and fabrication quality meets company and industry standards
- Work collaboratively with fabrication, welding, and production teams
