Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager, located in Pontypool, South Wales, with a willingness to travel to sites, dependent on need. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. This includes coordinating resources, managing teams, handling logistics, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders. The role requires a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving project demands.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
Expertise in Expediting and Expeditor techniques to ensure project efficiency.
Proficiency in Inspection processes to uphold quality and safety standards.
Knowledge of Logistics Management and supply chain coordination related to construction or steelwork.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work on-site (willingness to travel) and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant qualifications in Project Management or Engineering (TWC & HNC+)
Experience in the steel or construction industry is a plus.
