Description: Pro-Staffing is recruiting experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to work within prison healthcare settings. This role is suited to nurses who are confident in delivering mental healthcare within a secure and fast-paced environment.
Important Requirement: Valid Prison Clearance is essential. Candidates without current prison clearance cannot be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments
- Develop and review care plans
- Deliver therapeutic and risk management interventions
- Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical notes
- Respond to mental health crises within the prison
- Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- RMN qualification with active NMC PIN
- Valid Prison Clearance (mandatory)
- Experience within prisons, forensic, secure, or crisis mental health services (preferred)
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
