We are looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, person-centred services that meet individual needs in line with statutory duties under the Care Act and other key legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct person-centred assessments and interventions.
- Manage a caseload and make independent clinical decisions.
- Participate in the duty rota (one day per week in the office at Gun Wharf).
- Collaborate with health professionals, carers, and other teams.
- Travel across Medway and beyond as needed.
Requirements:
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification & HCPC registration.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
- Must be a car driver with business insurance.
- Experience in Adult Social Care and a commitment to safeguarding.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and care models.
- Willingness to supervise others (Practice Educator status desirable).
